IN JANUARY 2011 THE COMPANY TAKES PROFEX ACTIVITIES OF “BROUSSE BORDEAUX”, AN INFLUENT FRENCH OPERATOR FOR THE IMPORTATION OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLE.

In January 2011, the company PROFEX takes over the BROUSSE BORDEAUX’s activities, company founded in 1828, an influential French operator importing fruit and vegetables.
This growth process lets integrate into import activities within the group and set PROFEX on a range of high-end products both by plane and boat.
The origins are targeted by the soil quality, their product lines and variety.
We have developed over the years partnerships with key origins of importation, namely Peru, Spain and Israel for avocadoes, eastpeelers and mangoes, South Africa, Argentina and the Maghreb for citruses.
We have promoted and developed origins considered for the taste of their products, such as Portugal, where the development of rigorous specifications allows us, today, to reach our stated objective : focus on taste.
We are also present on the Reunion Islands and Mauritius known for the quality of their products.
For end-of-year holidays these origins have become essential for products like the Victoria pineapple, litchi (connected or leaved) but also mango and passion fruit.
Our shipments are transacted on major European ports for goods shiped by sea, and aircraft traffic pass mostly through Paris Charles de Gaulle.
The group has 3 sites of storage and sales which daily supply the whole French territory. The site of BORDEAUX through its facilities can work the matured products to provide our customers the best.
Finally, we work with containers or direct original trucks for our customers. Tools and specifications that we have set up are used to ensure the quality and consistency of our products.
Thanks to the collaborative activities of the group, we are now present through the production at the very detail and with total control of the supply chain and logistics.
